An EICR Certificate (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is a legal requirement for all landlords in the UK. This means that all electrical installations in the property you are letting out to tenants need to be tested by a qualified electrician at least every 5 years. A landlord certificate is a guarantee to any tenants on your property that all electrical installations are safe for use, so they can use them with confidence while they rent out the property.

When you call us to attain an EICR certificate for your property in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield or elsewhere in Yorkshire, we will arrange for a convenient time when an electrician can visit you. EICR testing begins with a visual inspection by a team member, during which we assess whether there is anything that clearly needs to be repaired or replaced. For example, there may be visible cracks or breaks in an electrical appliance or overheating spots. Assuming all is well following the visual inspection, we will then perform live testing and RCD testing on all electrical installations. Our electrician will then complete a full EICR report (the landlord certificate) to document the testing that has been carried out on your property.
